On Saturday, July 30th, His Eminence, Archbishop Leo of Karelia and All Finland, together with his delegation, visited St. Tikhon's Monastery bringing with them the wonder-working Valaam Icon of the Mother of God.

Following the welcoming of the Icon and Service of Thanksgiving, a luncheon was held for the monastics who had gathered for a monastic conference.  During the luncheon, Archbishop Leo spoke about the life of the Orthodox Church in Finland and visited with area clergy.
