The Primate of the Orthodox Church in America, Metropolitan Tikhon, visited the monastery on the weekend of the Feast of the Presentation.  He participated in the regular services and Divine Liturgy.  Afterwards, the Metropolitan blessed candles which is traditionally done on this Feast.  Candles symbolize Christ, the Light of the World, who has come to His temple.
