Lent is a time to seek spirituial nobility
Nobility, nobility is what is needed in order to be intertwined with Christ, otherwise there is no progress. If you only knew what nobility of spirit provides, you would seek it day and night; you would not even sleep. If one were to look closely at spiritual nobility, he would discover the majesty of God hidden within it!
Spiritual nobility is spiritual superiority; it is sacrifice. A noble soul only makes demands of itself, never from others. Such a soul sacrifices itself for others without expecting anything in return. A noble soul forgets all that it gives, but remembers even the slightest thing given to it. Such a noble soul has philotimo, humility and simplicity, selflessness, honest, it has it all. It also has the greatest joy and spiritual exhalation.
