Old Testament Saints are Prominent in December
The December calendar has more Old Testament saints that perhaps any other month.
In the weeks leading up to the Birth of Christ, the Liturgical Calendar is filled with saints from the Old Testament. The Sunday of the Forefathers of Christ (December 17 this year) focuses on those in Christ's family tree.
